
Dubai Municipality has won the Energy Global Award as part of the national sustainability project category for a successful research report they submitted.
The report titled ‘Excellence in sustainability and the role of the overall management of wastewater in Dubai' highlighted the role of the treatment plant administration at Dubai Municipality in the overall management of the most important natural resources in the world.
Announcing the achievement, Reda Salman, director of the treatment plant administration, said the administration has won for the best research and initiative presented from the UAE. "The research paper highlighted the tremendous efforts in the beneficial use of water treatment in the emirate, which live up to the highest levels of sustainability rankings.”
