3 arrested for trying to smuggle Khat into Oman

Three Arab nationals entering Omani waters in a boat with 12 boxes of Khat were arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), the authority tweeted on its official twitter handle.
“The boat was seized in Dhofar waters,” the tweet added.
On Sunday, the ROP arrested three Asians on board a boat while trying to smuggle alcohol into Oman in Dibba.
On Saturday, two Asians were caught by Omani coastguards straying into Omani waters in Mussandam.
