Abbas arrives in Athens on three-day visit

Palestinian President arrived here Sunday in Athens on a three-day visit.
During the visit, Abbas is scheduled to meet with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulous, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Parliament Speaker Nikos Voutsis along with a host of Greek officials and members of the Palestinian community in Greece, according to WAFA News Agency.
Last week, the Greek Parliament’s foreign affairs committee unanimously approved a motion to recognize Palestine.
