Abbas visits France at invitation from French president

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will meet later Friday with French President François Hollande at an invitation from the French president, Palestinian Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh told MENA.
The meeting will take up means to end the Israeli occupation after negotiations with the Egyptian side, he said.
The Palestinian-French ties are strong, he added.
The Palestinian situation is supported by the Arab states, he said.
Abbas conferred several times with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on means to solve the situation in Palestine, he said.
