Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Abdel Moneim el Bana left on Monday for Morocco to attend the 41st meeting of the shareholders council of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID).
In pre-departure statements, the minister said that the meeting falls within the framework of the joint annual meetings of Arab Financial Institutions.
On the sidelines of the meetings, participants will discuss the investment flows of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development and its contribution to agriculture projects in Egypt, the minister added.
The meeting will also elect board members for seats allocated to countries that contribute less than 10 percent of the authority’s capital, he noted.
The meeting will also include appointing the authority’s auditors for 2017 and determining 2017-2018 investment operations for the authority.
