Agriculture Minister heads to Spain as part of his European tour

Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Essam Fayed headed an Egyptian delegation Sunday to Spain within a trip to Europe that included Hungary and the Netherlands. 

In statements, Fayed said he has visited a number of companies working in greenhouses field in which they use new technologies.

He also inspected a number of farms cultivating vegetables and fruits via developed greenhouses technologies, adding that the climatic conditions of these farms are similar to that in Sinai, which could help a lot in transferring Spain’s experiment in this field to Egypt.

The trip comes as a result of presidential directives to boost cooperation with these countries, especially in greenhouses field.
