
Egyptian Embassy in Asmara received an Egyptian delegation from Agriculture Ministry led by farms project executive director Maher Abdel Moneim.
In a press release on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry said the delegation met with Eritrean Agriculture Ministry's general director and heads of poultry and researches' departments to discuss means of fostering bilateral relations in agriculture field.
The meeting was also attended by Egyptian Ambassador to Eritrea Yasser Hashim.
During the meeting, Eritrean officials hailed the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development's efforts in organizing training courses to transfer the Egyptian expertise to Eritrea.
The Egyptian delegation also discussed establishing a joint model farm in Eritrea as well as signing a memorandum of understanding to foster relations in research, training and developing crops and poultry fields.
