Al-Azhar imam arrives in Kuwait

Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb arrived here Sunday to be honored and participate in the celebrations of Kuwait capital of Islamic culture 2016.
El Tayyeb was welcomed in the airport by number of high-level Kuwaiti officials.
During the visit, el Tayyeb will also meet with the Kuwaiti Emir Sabah al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, the crown prince, prime minister and number of ministers.
The celebration aims at spreading Islamic culture, reviving it, highlighting its humanitarian values and activating dialogue between the civilizations.
