Antiquities Minister appoints new director for Egyptian Museum

Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anany issued a decision to appoint a new director general for the Egyptian Museum as its incumbent Samia Abdel Samea will reach retirement in a few days.
The minister appointed archaeologist Sabah Abdel Razeq to fill in the post.
He also appointed Lotfy Abdel Hamid as museum deputy director for antiquities affairs, Hala Hassan as deputy director for archaeologists’ affairs, Gamal el Belm as director general for the museum’s library and Mohamed Ali Fahmy as deputy director for technical affairs.
