
A senior Arab League (AL) delegation headed by Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi would arrive in Sudan on Tuesday to partake in the second session of the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum hosted by Khartoum on December 3-4.
Also, the meeting would be attended by Arab countries' ministers along with Russian foreign minister.
In a statement, the Arab League's Envoy to Sudan Ambassador Salah Halima said that the participation of the AL delegation reflects the strategic significance of the forum.
The forum's agenda would tackle a number of Arab issues including, the Palestinian cause, he added.
Furthermore, the gathering would probe ways of boosting economic and political cooperation between Russia and Arab countries, Halma asserted.
