
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby will head for Bahrain on Friday to participate in the first ministerial session of the India-Arab Cooperation Forum, which will kick off in Manama on Sunday.
AL Assistant Secretary General Fadel Gawwad said the Manama meeting will be held at the level of foreign ministers with the participation of Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
Araby is scheduled to deliver a speech at the opening session, he said, adding that the meeting will discuss a number of files, including the Palestinian issue and ways of confronting terrorism and boosting bilateral cooperation.
Gawwad expected the meeting to come up with a number of constructive recommendations.
