Arab League chief heads for New York to attend UN meeting

Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby left Cairo Tuesday heading for New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly meeting.
Arab foreign ministers will convene in New York on Sunday to review the issues to be raised during the UN meeting by the end of the month.
The meeting will focus on the Israeli escalations in Al Quds.
The AL is mulling a request for a foreign ministers meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) by the end of September or the beginning of October.
The AL has lambasted the international double-standard policy in handling the Israeli nuclear file.
