Arab Parliament Speaker pays first visit to Baghdad

Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed al Jarwan arrived in Baghdad Friday on his first visit to Iraq.
Jarwan was received by Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Salim al Jibouri at Baghdad International Airport.
Jarwan is scheduled to review ongoing preparations for a conference of the Parliamentary Union of Muslim States to be hosted by Baghdad in January.
He will also meet with Iraqi President Fuad Masum, Prime Minister Haider al Abadi and a number of senior officials and political figures.
