Azhar imam, Pope Tawadros open meeting for promoting values in society

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese opened on Tuesday at Azhar Sheikhdom a meeting on an initiative for promoting ethics and values in the Egyptian society.
During the meeting, Tayyeb reviewed Egypt's history of wars and economic conditions which Egyptians surpassed, highlighting the people's steadfastness.
Tayyeb expressed concerns about a drop in noble values in the society due to the circumstances which the Egyptian society has experienced recently.
During the meeting on promoting values in society, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed Tayyeb called on all officials to inspire hope among youths and deepen their sense of belonging.
He also urged major institutions to play a role in confronting current challenges to restore values and ethics in the Egyptian society.
