Biden arrives in Jordan

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrived here on Thursday on a two-day official visit to Jordan, the Royal Hashemite Court said in a statement.
Biden will hold talks with King Abdullah II on regional and international efforts exerted to combat terrorism and the Syrian crisis's developments as well as ways of fostering bilateral ties and cooperation, including the military one, the statement added.
The US vice president and his wife were received at Marka International Airport by Amman mayor and governor and a raft of Jordanian officials, along with US Ambassador in Amman Alice G. Wells.
