Chechen president plans to visit Syria

Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov said that he plans to visit Syria before September of this year.
In statements carried by Sputnik news agency, he said Kadyrov stated that the was invited by Syrian President Bashar Al Assad on two occasions; however, he was unable to visit due to pressing matters inside his country.
He added that he has visited Damascus prior to his presidency, but never while in office.
