
An official reception was held yesterday for His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, upon his arrival at Beijing's Great Hall of the People.
On his arrival at the Great Hall, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, and his accompanying delegation, was received by Li Yuanchao, Vice-President of the People's Republic of China.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed shook hands with senior ministers, statesmen and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to China, and Vice-President Yuanchao shook hands with the delegation accompanying His Highness.
The national anthems of the two countries were played, after which Sheikh Mohamed, accompanied by Li Yuanchao, inspected a guard of honour.
His Highness's high-level delegation includes Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, along with a number of Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials in the state.
