Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek will start a visit of Cairo on Saturday, leading a 30-strong delegation of government officials and businesspersons.
The visit comes in response to an invitation by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry during a visit of Prague in 2015, the Czech embassy here said in a statement.
During the two-day Cairo visit, Zaoralek will meet with the Egyptian foreign minister over issues of mutual concern.
He will also meet with Industry and Trade Minister Tareq Qabil, Military Production Minister Mohamed el Assar and Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty, the statement added.
Zaoralek will inaugurate the Egyptian-Czech business council, which will probe means of promoting economic and investment cooperation.
