Egyptian Foreign Ministry Nabil Fahmy arrived in theUnited States on his first official visit to the country since June 30, 2013.Egyptian state-run news agency (MENA) reported today that Fahmy will participatein discussions in a number of research centers in San Francisco, dealing with hisviews of bilateral relations and cooperation between both countries in a number ofregional and issues such as the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis.Afterwards, Fahmy will head to Washington to hold talks with US Secretary GeneralJohn Kerry on bilateral relations in all fields. They will also discuss issues ofcommon interest, particularly the Palestinian cause and the latest developments of the Syrian crisis as well as means of clearing the Middle-East from weapons of massdestruction.
