Egyptian Navy commander leaves for Italy over forum

Commander of the Egyptian Navy Osama Rabea left for Italy to attend the Mediterranean Coast Guards Functions Forum.

The forum is held in Naples from June 30 June to July 2. Portugal handed over the chairmanship of the organization to Italy.

This initiative was launched by the Italian Coast Guard in 2009 with the organization of the “1st Mediterranean Coast Guard Services Forum”. The main theme of the 2016 Conference is “Mediterranean: sharing experiences among Coast Guard Functions”. Topics related to Coast Guard Functions will be addressed and discussed.

The Forum will be an excellent opportunity to reinforce fruitful contacts and to enhance the cooperation among all the Organization involved in Coast Guard Functions in the Mediterranean Sea.
