
Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam left Amman Monday evening, wrapping up a three-day visit to Jordan to attend a conference on Sharia judicial system.
Titled "Leadership and Justice", the conference was attended by a host of scholars from Jordan and abroad.
Addressing the gathering, Allam said that no society can give up justice as it is the sole guarantee for the freedom of the people and their rights.
Justice is also important to bring about stability and security in societies, said Allam.
Scholars from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Bahrain, Malaysia, Kuwait and Qatar were present
