Egypt's new ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Badr al-Din Zayed arrived here on Tuesday.
In statements to MENA on Tuesday, the Egyptian diplomat said Egypt and Lebanon enjoy strong and historic relations, asserting that he would work on boosting the bilateral ties.
The new Egyptian ambassador was received by Egypt's embassy's staff in Lebanon, ambassadors of Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Oman, Kuwait , Moroco and Yemen as well as head of the Arab League's office in Lebanon, and the representative of the Palestinian embassy.
