Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki arrived at Cairo International Airport on Monday.
Afewerki arrived on board of a private plane and was welcomed at the airport by Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
During his visit, the Eritrean president is expected to meet with a number of senior Egyptian officials.
