Ethiopian Foreign Minister Workenh Gebeyehu arrived here on Sunday leading a high-profile delegation on an official visit to Sudan.
Upon his arrival at Khartoum airport, the Ethiopian foreign minister was received by his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour.
Also, the two ministers made remarks on the deep ties binding the two countries.
In a statement, Spokesman for the Sudanese Foreign Ministry Ghariballah Khadir said that the two ministers will hold Monday talks on ways of fostering bilateral ties in various fields.
The Ethiopian minister will meet later with Sudanese President Omar al Bashir and a number of Sudanese officials, Khadir added.
