EU official to visit Tunisia Thursday

European Union commissioner responsible for enlargement and neighborhood policy Stefan Fule is set to arrive Thursday in Tunis for a two-day visit to Tunisia.During his stay, Fule will meet interim President Moncef Marzouki, interim Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa and Constituent Assembly President Mustapha Ben Jaafar, a statement issued by the European Commission’s delegation to Tunisia said.Fule will also meet with Wided Bouchamaoui, head of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts (UTICA), a group of senior government officials as well as a number of representatives of civil society groups.
