
Former chief editor of Rosa Al-Yousef Abdullah Kamal died on Friday at the age of 49.
Kamal was announced dead at Cleopatra Hospital in Cairo neighborhood of Heliopolis after suffering a heart attack.
Kamal, who was born in 1965, obtained a bachelor degree in journalism from the Faculty of Mass Communications, Cairo University in 1987.
He started his career at Rosa Al-Yousef Magazine. In June 2005, Kamal was appointed as the magazine editor-in-chief and remained in the post until the January 25 revolution.
Kamal is the founder and editor-in-chief of Dotmasr news website.
