
Member of Fatah's central committee Abbas Zaki suffered minor injuries Friday after a car accident while was driving from Hebron to Ramallah. The accident happened near Anata, a Palestinian village in the central West Bank, where an Israeli vehicle collided with Zaki's car. Others in the car suffered minor injuries. A Red Crescent ambulance transferred Zaki to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah where he underwent tests. He was transferred to Al-Kuwaiti hospital, where his condition was listed as stable. President Mahmoud Abbas and senior aides telephoned the Fatah official to check up on him.
