With just two days to go to the US general election Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton were in a feverish race to eke out enough votes to become the next president of the United States.
With public opinion polls showing a virtual tie nationally, the candidates are visiting states that are still up for grabs in the race to get 270 electoral votes to be proclaimed president.
On Sunday Clinton was flying to campaign rallies in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, while Trump was holding events in Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta said on Sunday that she would concentrate on two states: Nevada and Michigan. If she can win those states, "Hillary Clinton is going to be the next president of the United States," Podesta said.
Trump will need to win at least Florida, North Carolina, Michigan and Nevada for him to have a chance, analysts say.
