Foreign delegations mull investments in East Port

A delegation representing Japan’s Toyota-NYK and France’s Bollore inspected East Port Said harbor to mull available investments, said director of the port Captain Ali Assem on Wednesday.
The visit comes days after chairman of Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Ahmed Darwish signed a letter of intent with the alliance to start necessary financial and legal negotiations to lay down a framework agreement of the operation and maintenance of a pier designed for imported cars at the East Port Said harbor, the captain said.
He added that a delegation of the European Investment Bank will visit the harbor to stand on available investment opportunities and see underway development works of the harbor.
