French president to receive World Handball Champions

French President Francois Hollande will tomorrow (February 3) received the victorious French handball team, which clinch the World Championship for the fifth time in Doha yesterday.
President Hollande took pride in this talented generation of handball players, who clinched all the trophies and won the World Championship, the European title and the Olympic gold medal.
He extended congratulations to the triumphant players and their technical director Claude Onesta, hailing their spectacular performances which were crowned yesterday with the World Handball Championship in Doha.
France clinched the coveted trophy after edging past host country Qatar 25-22, making history with five world championships bagged.
