
Dubai gave Lebanese journalist and chief editor of “Middle East” newspaper “Media person of the year” award, that worth 60 thousand dollars, as part of the "Arab Journalism Award" organized annually by UAE.
305 thousand dollars awards were given to a group of journalists, newspapers, and news sites in a celebration held in Dubai yesterday during “Arab Media Forum” conference.
Charbel is a journalist and writer works in “Nahar” newspaper, and he was editor-in-chief of “Al-Hayat” newspaper before being appointed editor-in-chief of the “Middle East” newspaper.
Dubai organizes annually “Arab Journalism Award” event under the supervision of the government, where more than 5900 press works compete to win awards in this particular event.
