During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the new RCA headquarters, to be built in the embassy area in Abu Dhabi. The five-storey building will be constructed on a 24,614 square metre area and is scheduled for completion in 2017.
Meanwhile, the delegation presented to Sheikh Hamdan the awards won by the RCA in international TV film festival in New York for its documentary, 'Wave of Sorrow'.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the RCA's achievement of highlighting humanitarian issues through award-winning documentaries and reflecting the role played by the UAE in that field, thanks to the directives of the wise leadership.
