
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has opened the Mushrif Central Park, one of the largest and oldest parks in Abu Dhabi.
The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region.
Sheikh Hazza commended the park's new and innovative facilities, stressing the importance of such tourism, aesthetics and entertainment projects in the establishment of the "Abu Dhabi Vision 2030", which aims at protecting the environment and provision of distinguished services to all inhabitants of the emirate.
He said that the continuous development of entertainment and tourism projects would contribute to stretching of green belt, preservation of environment in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who had instilled the principles of preserving the heritage, environment protection and love of nature.
Sheikh Hazza officially cut the ribbon of the park for all residents of Abu Dhabi, which will be open to visitors from tomorrow in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, a number of members of the emirate's Executive Council and others.
