
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Nairobi on Tuesday at the end of his visit to the Republic of Kenya, heading to the Republic of South Africa.President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, saw HH the Emir off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed also saw HH the Emir off along with Minister of Education Fred Matiang'i; a number of senior Kenyan officials; Qatar's Charge d'Affaires in Kenya, Ali Abdullah Al Abdullah; Kenyan Ambassador to Qatar Galma Mukhe Boru; and members of the Qatari embassy.
HH the Emir sent a cable to President Kenyatta, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit that allowed HH the Emir a chance to meet the president and exchange views with him on issues of mutual interest and means of boosting and developing friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries on all fronts for the benefit of the two peoples.
HH the Emir also voiced his extreme recognition and best wishes of health and happiness to the president and further wishes of development and growth to the friendly Kenyan people.
