Investment minister attends debate on digital

Investment Minister Dalia Khorshed was present at a debate on societal values of the digital communications industry, which was held Wednesday as part of activities of the World Trade Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The debate focused on the growing role of the private sector in outlining policies in partnership with the governments, a statement by the Investment Ministry here said.

Khorshed told participants that the private sector plays an important role in providing expertise and knowledge, as well as securing funds needed to achieve development and growth sought by the governments. 

The Egyptian government is seeking to further involve the private sector in the development process, Khorshed was quoted as having said.
