
Reliable sources revealed that Iraqi President Fuad Masoum's anticipated visit to Egypt has been postponed to the end of February.
The sources told MENA correspondent in Baghdad Monday the postponement came upon the Iraqi side's request.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al Abady paid a visit to Egypt on January 11 during which he was received by President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and the Grand Imam of Azhar Ahmed El tayyeb.
Abady's talks in Cairo tackled means to cement economic and bilateral relations as well as efforts to combat terrorism.
