Italian FM Paolo Gentiloni visits Cuba

President of Cuba Raul Castro met here Friday with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
Gentiloni said today that the Italian administration hopes the breakthrough in diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States. For his part, the Cuban president expressed his satisfaction at the level of bilateral relations between Italy and Cuba.
Gentiloni is the first European minister to visit Cuba after the United States announced months ago that they were ending their embargo against Cuba.
