Italian Foreign Minister heads for Tripoli

Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni left for the Libyan capital Tripoli on Tuesday for a meeting with Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez al Sarraj.
According to the Italian Foreign Ministry, Gentiloni will arrive in Tripoli within a few hours on the first visit to be paid by a Western official since 2014.
The duration of the visit has not been announced.
