King Abdullah II of Jordan will start, on Wednesday, an official visit to Ottawa, Canada's capital, during which he will meet with the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston, Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and a number of senior officials.
The two sides will discuss bilateral relations and ways to boost them in various fields, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
King Abdullah II visit to Canada comes at a time when relations between the two countries are developing in the trade and economic fields, especially after the mutual free trade agreement came into effect in late 2012.
Jordan and Canada are associated with a number of agreements on investment, labor and environmental issues.
