King Abdullah II returned home late on Wednesday after a private visit to the US, according to a statement by the Royal Cabinet.
The king took part in an economic forum in Sun Valley city where he met with a number of American officials, the statement said on Thursday.
Talks tackled boosting economic cooperation between Jordan and the US.
He also met with US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter.
