Jordanian King Abdullah II along with his spouse Queen Rania headed for Italy to attend the forum on Mediterranean dialogues, which will be hosted by Rome within the current week and with the participation of 40 countries.
The Jordanian king will deliver a speech during the forum and will hold several meetings with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi along with a host of senior Italian officials to discuss the latest regional and international developments and political and economic ties between the two countries.
The forum will also discuss ways to confront the daunting challenges besetting the region, especially the terrorist groups, the illegal immigration and human trafficking along with ways to resume the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations.
