
Jordanian King Abdullah II left on Sunday for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a short visit to offer condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai over the heath of his son Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who died of a heart attack yesterday, according to Petra News Agency.
The Jordanian monarch is accompanied by Prince al-Hassan bin Talal, Prince Ali bin al-Hussein, Prince Hashem bin al-Hussein, Prince Rashid bin al-Hassan and Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh.
Prince Faisal bin al- Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
