
The Mubadala Development Company today announced the retirement of Ibrahim Lari, Chief Executive Officer of Injazat Data Systems, a regional IT managed services market leader wholly owned by Mubadala. Lari will remain on board as a Strategic Senior Advisor to the newly elected Chief Executive Officer, Khaled Al Melhi, who currently serves as Chairman of Injazat.
Homaid Al Shimmari, CEO of Aerospace and Engineering Services, AES, at Mubadala, said, "Khaled Al Melhi brings critical leadership experience and a fresh perspective to Injazat, as ICT continues to develop as a cornerstone sector in the diversification of our nation’s economy."
He added, "Ibrahim Lari’s commitment to Injazat has been unparalleled, and I am delighted that we will continue to benefit from his guidance, experience and insight as they drive the growth of this pioneering homegrown success."
Khaled Al Melhi commented on his new appointment, saying, "It is truly an honour to be appointed as the new CEO for Injazat, a company that has paved the way for establishing leading data centre and IT services in the region.
