King Salman, Merkel discuss over phone regional issues

King Salman bin Abdel Aziz of Saudi Arabia received on Wednesday a phone call from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, said the SPA news agency.
The contact tackled regional issues and efforts exerted to bring about security and stability.
Merkel hailed the kingdom's role in unifying the Syrian opposition factions.
