
The Lebanese and United Arab Emirates health ministers, Ghassan Hasbani and Abdul Rahman al Owais respectively, arrived here on Tuesday to participate in the 47th session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, due to start on Wednesday.
The council's executive board is scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Kuwait, to prepare for the council's meeting on Wednesday.
The council will discuss the Mental Health and Substance Use Strategy for Arab countries for 2015-2020 and the global fight against tobacco.
The council's member states include Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Yemen, Comoros and Mauritania.
