
Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, yesterday attended a reception hosted by Riitta Swan, Ambassador of Finland to the UAE, on the occasion of her country's National Day.
The ceremony was attended by Shehab Ahmed Mohammed Al Fahim, Assistant Under-Secretary for Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry, Maria Lohela, Speaker of the Parliament of Finland, a number of senior officials and heads of diplomatic missions of Arab and foreign countries accredited to the country, along with members of the Finnish community living in the UAE.
In her speech during the ceremony, the Ambassador of Finland commended the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and her country, commending the comprehensive cultural renaissance witnessed by the country in various fields.
