Maltese president to visit Algeria Tuesday

President of Malta Marie Louise Coleiro Preca will arrive here on a three-day visit on Tuesday at the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The visit offers an opportunity to boost bilateral efforts for building a mutually-beneficial economic partnership, a presidential statement said Monday.
The economic discussions come ahead of a meeting of the mixed commission for cooperation scheduled to be held later this year.
The discussions between the two leaders aim at exchanging views on Mediterranean issues and relations between Algeria and European Union.
