
Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz along with his accompanying delegation left here Saturday for Cairo in response to an invitation by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The Mauritanian president is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih, Minister of Energy, Oil, and Mines Mohamed Salem Ould Bechir, Minister of Health Boubacar Kane and Minister of Veterinary, Fatma Fal along with a host of Mauritanian officials.
The Mauritanian minister of foreign affairs held a meeting yesterday in Nouakchott with heads of accredited Arab diplomatic missions to discuss ongoing preparations to host the 27th Arab Summit, which is scheduled to be held in Nouakchott on July 25, 26.
