Microsoft founder Bill Gates is due to arrive here Monday at an invitation from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah to participate in a dialogue session with Kuwaiti youth.
During the visit, Gates will attend the meeting of Abdulrahman al Sumait board of trustees and will be honored with Informatics Medal for his decades-long information revolution contributions.
He will also meet with a delegation of Kuwaiti businessmen and representatives of Kuwaiti institutions and charity organizations.
Gates co-chairs the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which aims at improving the quality of life of people in developing countries, in addition to focusing on supporting initiatives to improve global health and education.
