His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended on Thursday evening a reception hosted by Meydan ahead of the Dubai World Cup, which will be staged on Saturday at Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse, Nad Al Sheba.
The world's richest race meeting, the Dubai World Cup, is attracting world renown riders who will compete with their UAE peers.
The function was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, a number of senior officials,headline sponsors, partners, businessmen, stables owners and Arab and foreign personalities.
Sheikh Mohammed interacted with the audience and talked with them about the expected race.
